Django application with HTMX and Tailwind CSS, designed for a shop counter: keyboard-driven item search, cart, cash or mobile money payment, sales journal, stock alerts, movements, customers and receivables, expenses, bank deposits and reconciliation, roles and permissions. Daily, weekly and monthly dashboard.
The problem
A parts shop sold over the counter with no reliable tracking of stock or customer credit, and banked its cash without reconciliation.
My role
Design and development of the application, from the data model to the container deployment.

Technical decisions
- HTMX instead of a frontend framework: server-rendered pages, fast interactions at the counter, no Node dependency.
- End-to-end cash tracking: receipts, expenses, deposits and bank reconciliation in the same tool.
- Replayable demo dataset and a Docker image to set up a shop in minutes.
Outcome
Complete application delivered with dashboard, stock alerts and receivables tracking; screenshots taken on the demo dataset.
