Management ERP replacing more than one hundred Excel files of a medical centre: treasury, payroll, loans, receivables, supplier invoices.

A FastAPI and Next.js web application, in use at the client with its current-year data. Seventeen business models: closable periods, cash book, bank register, monthly and annual payroll, loans, receivables and supplier debts. The Excel importers were designed by reverse-engineering the existing files, and the openpyxl exports reproduce the documents the centre already used.
The problem
A medical centre's accounting lived in about a hundred interdependent Excel workbooks: repeated entry, broken formulas and no reliable period closing.
My role
Design and development with the client, from analysing its Excel files to installing the app on the user's workstation.

Technical decisions
- Start from the real documents: Excel importers written by reverse-engineering the files, exports that reuse their templates.
- Treasury synchronised automatically from business events: no more double entry.
- Local application launched in one click on a Windows workstation, for a non-technical user, with no server to administer.
Outcome
Tool in daily use at the client, fed with its 2026 data. Private code, demo on request.
